People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our well-established client based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a driver of a LGV Class 2 HIAB, Category C HIAB or a Lorry-mounted Crane.

Shifts:

  •  Monday – Friday

Rates of Pay:

  •  £16.00 - £19.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Safely operating a Category C vehicle with a HIAB/lorry-mounted crane for loading and unloading goods
• Deliver goods to various locations, ensuring safe handling and timely delivery
• Conduct pre and post operations checks on the vehicle and equipment
• Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure compliance with all regulations
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained liaise with dealership with service
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and transport regulations

Essential Skills:

As a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
• Hold a valid HIAB/lorry mounted crane qualification
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card xwzovoh and UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

Training:

  •  Training provided as and when required
  •  Ongoing industry-related training and ongoing support
