Business Planner - Cardiff
Pay Rate: £15.69 per hour (including holiday pay)
Location: Cardiff
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Long Term Sickness Cover - with potential to become permanent for the right candidate
PPM Recruitment are currently recruiting for an organised and proactive Business Planner to join a busy operational team based in Cardiff.
The position is initially to provide cover for a long-term sickness absence, however, there may be an opportunity for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in planning, scheduling or operations who can manage workloads, coordinate teams and ensure daily operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and coordinating daily workloads for operational teams.
Managing schedules and adapting plans to changing priorities.
Liaising with operatives, supervisors, drivers, customers and internal teams.
Identifying and arranging additional chargeable work.
Monitoring performance and improving operational efficiency.
Producing KPI reports and operational updates for management.
Requirements:
Previous experience in planning, scheduling or operations.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Confident communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities.
Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
