Location: Sheerness Docks, Kent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
Contract: Temporary Ongoing
Positions: Multiple technicians required
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Manufacturer Recall Technicians to support ongoing recall campaigns on Stellantis vehicles, including Peugeot, Citron, Vauxhall, DS and Fiat brands.
This is a workshop-based, temporary ongoing role offering consistent work. Duties will include software updates, inspections, and light mechanical repairs. Full training will be provided on site.
Pay Rates- Level 2 = £15.00 per hour
- Level 3 = £20.75 per hour
- Complete manufacturer recall work on Stellantis vehicles
- Perform software updates and reprogramming using diagnostic systems
- Carry out inspections and checks in line with recall instructions
- Undertake light mechanical work (component replacement, adjustments, basic repairs)
- Follow technical bulletins and manufacturer standards
- Accurately complete job cards and system updates
- Conduct post-work quality checks
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
- Report any issues or technical concerns to supervisors
Essential:
- Basic mechanical or automotive experience
- Confident using computer-based systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow technical instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good understanding of health and safety
Desirable:
- Previous recall experience
- Experience with Stellantis vehicles
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving xwzovoh licence
Candidates with recent cambelt replacement experience will also be considered, even without diagnostic qualifications.
