Locum Consultant Urogynaecologist

We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated subspecialist Locum Consultant in Urogynaecology to join our forward‑thinking, multidisciplinary team at University Hospitals Leicester. Suitable candidates with a special interest in Urogynaecology may also be considered.

You will play a key role in the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centred care across the full spectrum of Urogynaecology services, including diagnosis, surgery, systemic treatment planning, and participation in MDTs. The successful candidate will contribute to both inpatient and outpatient care, with a strong emphasis on collaborative working with colleagues in Colorectal, Radiology, Pathology, and Urology.

This is a 12‑month post pending substantive appointment.

• Participation in the delivery of specialist surgical clinics and operating lists
• Involvement in regional MDT meetings and close collaboration with pathway coordinators
• Contribution to teaching, supervision, and mentorship of junior doctors and trainees
• Opportunity to take part in clinical research, audit, and service improvement projects
• Participation in an on‑call rota shared with fellow consultants (if applicable)
