Demand Planner

As a Demand Planner in London, you will manage demand plans for an FMCG business, helping procurement and supply chain teams keep products available and plans on track. You will use clear demand data and close planning routines to support day-to-day decisions across the business.

Description

Build and maintain demand plans to give procurement and supply chain teams a clear view of expected product needs.
Review sales trends, historical data and available market information to improve the accuracy of forecasts.
Work with internal teams to gather demand inputs and reflect agreed changes in the demand plan.
Track forecast performance and investigate variances, using findings to improve future planning.
Prepare clear demand planning updates that help teams make informed supply decisions.
Maintain accurate planning data and ensure demand assumptions are recorded clearly.
Identify potential demand changes early and raise them with relevant stakeholders to support timely action.
Contribute to regular planning/S&OP meetings by sharing current demand plans, key risks and agreed actions.Profile

A successful Demand Planner should have:

Experience creating and maintaining demand forecasts.
Strong ability to analyse sales data, trends and forecast variances.
Knowledge of demand planning processes within procurement and supply chain.
Confidence working with planning data and keeping records accurate.
Ability to turn demand information into clear updates for internal teams.
Experience working with colleagues to collect inputs and agree planning assumptions.Job Offer

Salary of £45,000 to £55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
Bonus.
