Project Manager – Fast Track Retail Fit Out Location: London & Surrounding Areas Salary: Up to £85,000 + Car Allowance + Pension + Expenses + Discretionary Bonus Employment Type: Permanent Sector: Retail Fit Out / Supermarket Refurbishment / Food Retail Invision Recruitment are currently working with an established specialist fit-out contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of fast-track retail refurbishment and rollout projects. The successful candidate will ideally come from a food retail, supermarket or high-volume retail fit-out background and will have experience managing multiple projects concurrently from pre-construction through to handover. Projects range in value from approximately £100,000 to £4 million and are predominantly located across London and the surrounding areas, with occasional travel further afield. Typical Scope of Works Projects will include a variety of retail refurbishment and fit-out packages including: * Mechanical and electrical installations * Refrigeration works * Ceilings, walls and partitions * Vinyl and tiled flooring * Gondola and shelving systems * Live-store refurbishment * Phased and out-of-hours works Key Responsibilities As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of multiple retail projects, including: * Producing and managing project programmes using Microsoft Project * Preparing phasing plans and sequencing works * Overseeing Site Managers and site teams * Attending and chairing client progress meetings * Coordinating design and technical review meetings * Reviewing Health & Safety documentation and site compliance * Managing material and plant procurement * Monitoring programme, quality and project progress * Supporting the commercial team and Project QS * Obtaining subcontractor and supplier quotations * Recording client variations and changes * Assisting with monthly valuations * Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget Candidate Requirements * Previous experience working as a Project Manager within retail fit out or refurbishment * Strong experience delivering supermarket, food retail or live-store projects * Strong programming and planning skills * A good understanding of M&E and refrigeration packages Package The company are offering: * Basic salary * Car allowance * Company pension * Business expenses * Discretionary bonus * Long-term opportunity with an established specialist retail contractor This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail Project Manager to join a business delivering a strong pipeline of supermarket and food retail rollout projects
