We are working with an independent fire safety consultancy and engineering services business to recruit an experienced Fire Door Team Leader to join its growing fire door department.

This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced joiner or highly competent fire door technician looking to take the next step in their career. As Fire Door Team Leader, you will combine practical site-based work with technical guidance and support for colleagues across the department.
You will play a key role in ensuring fire door inspections, maintenance, repairs and installations are completed to the required standards, acting as an important link between the operational team and the Head of Department.

Key Responsibilities:As Fire Door Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out fire door inspections, maintenance, repairs and installations.
- Ensuring all work meets relevant fire safety standards and BM TRADA requirements.
- Providing technical advice and guidance to colleagues.
- Supporting the wider team with technical queries and problem-solving.
- Acting as the main link between site-based colleagues and the Head of Department.
- Identifying defects and advising on appropriate remedial works.
- Maintaining accurate inspection records, reports and job documentation.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a highly competent fire door technician
- Essential: Strong practical knowledge and experience of BM TRADA fire door inspection, maintenance and installation requirements. xwzovoh
- Proven experience carrying out fire door inspections, maintenance, repairs and installations.
