Senior Interior Design Manager – Hotel Design Location: Hampshire Salary: £60,000–£80,000 (Depending Upon experience) This is a rare opportunity to move into a client-side design role with a major global hospitality operator. You’ll take ownership of interior design across high-profile refurbishment projects, working with leading external studios and influencing decisions from the initial brief through to completion. The scale of the projects is a real draw. You’ll work across restaurants, lounges, suites and entertainment spaces, collaborate with senior stakeholders and travel internationally to see the work delivered on site. This is an exceptional next step for a hospitality designer who wants more say in what gets built. We’re interested in speaking to established Design Managers from hotels or luxury hospitality, as well as Senior Interior Designers and Interior Architects who have led complex projects and are ready to make the move into client-side design management. Package * Excellent Salary: £60,000–£80,000 * Three days in the Southampton office and two days working from home * International travel to visit projects on site * Initial six-month contract, with potential for a permanent position Office: Hampshire Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday. 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Hybrid working – 2 days p/week) Duties * Develop project briefs and design direction documents that give external studios a clear vision, scope and set of requirements. * Manage the design process from early concepts through technical development, coordinating deliverables and keeping projects on schedule. * Brief and work closely with external interior designers, architects and specialist consultants, providing clear feedback throughout. * Review, challenge and approve drawings, specifications, materials and workshop details before they move forward. * Coordinate interiors with FF&E, lighting, signage and other specialist elements to create a consistent, practical result. * Work with brand and operational teams to ensure designs meet guest expectations and function effectively day to day. * Manage design changes and value engineering, protecting the quality of the original concept while meeting budget requirements. * Attend mock-up reviews and site inspections, checking that completed work matches approved designs and resolving issues as they arise.
