Are you an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering major civil engineering or airport infrastructure projects?
We are recruiting for a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a significant airside concrete apron replacement project at Prestwick Airport, Scotland . This high-profile Design & Build NEC contract , valued between £10m and £15m , will run over an 18-month programme and offers either a permanent or fixed-term engagement.
The Role
Reporting to the Contracts Director, you will take full responsibility for the planning, coordination and delivery of this complex airside infrastructure project, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and within budget whilst maintaining operational airport requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Overall management of a £10m-£15m airside concrete apron replacement project
Lead project teams including Site Managers, Engineers and commercial staff
Management and administration of NEC contracts
Programme planning, monitoring and reporting
Client and stakeholder management, including airport operations teams
Driving health, safety, environmental and quality standards
Management of subcontractors and supply chain partners
Cost control, forecasting and commercial awareness throughout the project lifecycle
Ensuring project objectives, milestones and contractual obligations are achieved
Requirements
Proven experience delivering major civil engineering, aviation, highways, infrastructure or heavy concrete projects
Strong understanding and practical xwzovoh experience of NEC contracts
Design & Build project delivery experience
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
SMSTS and CSCS certification
Airport or airside project experience would be highly advantageous
