HGV Service Advisor Location: Heathrow Salary: £32,000 basic + bonus Working Hours: 42 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern: 5:30am – 2:30pm 8:00am – 5:00pm 10:00am – 7:00pm Plus 1 in 3 Saturdays: 7:00am – 12:00pmWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HGV Service Advisor to join a busy commercial vehicle dealership in Heathrow. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service and organisational skills who thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment and enjoys being the key link between customers and the workshop. HGV Service Advisor Company Benefits 30 days annual leave including bank holidays Additional annual leave with long service Holiday purchase scheme Company pension scheme Manufacturer training and career progression opportunities Free Class IV MOT each year Referral bonus scheme Enhanced paternity pay Personal accident scheme Corporate uniform provided Cycle to Work scheme Supportive family-run business environmentHGV Service Advisor Role Manage customer bookings and act as the main point of contact throughout the service process Liaise with customers and technicians to provide updates on vehicle progress and repair requirements Upsell additional repairs and workshop services where appropriate Obtain authorisations, raise invoices, and maintain accurate service records Schedule workshop jobs to maximise efficiency and utilisation Order parts and arrange subcontract work when required Follow up with customers after completion to ensure satisfactionHGV Service Advisor Requirements Previous experience as a Service Advisor, ideally within HGV, commercial vehicles, or automotive Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organisational and administrative ability Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities Good technical understanding of vehicle servicing and repairs Proactive team player with excellent attention to detailPlease note all applications will be handled confidentially.
