Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for early-stage delivery, securing seed and shell-ready capital funding through structured stage-gate approvals.Direct multidisciplinary external partners including architects, engineering consultants, project controls teams, and general contractors to ensure delivery alignment.Partner with Energy and Location Strategy teams on technical reviews and site configurations, establishing baseline guardrails for capacity, cost, and schedule.Lead end-to-end campus planning, maintaining integrated master schedules, risk logs, and portfolio performance dashboards.Act as the delivery lead for supply planning and scenario modeling while advocating regional continuous improvement initiatives.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent practical experience.A relevant professional license (e.g., PE, CEng, or NCARB).5 years of experience in technical program or project management, including early-stage budget planning, risk management, and project handoff to construction teams.Experience in pre-construction and design-build delivery specifically for data center projects.Experience developing baseline project schedules, resource allocation plans, and executive status reporting.Ability to travel regionally up to 25% of the time.Preferred qualifications:Master’s degree in an Engineering or technical related discipline. Experience in schedule control, reporting, developing strategy, and facilitating the work of an interdisciplinary team.Experience in successful customer relationship management and communicating change through excellent communication skills.Ability to develop detailed project plans ensuring resource availability and allocation and delivering every project on time within budget and scope.Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.As a Front End Planning (FEP) Regional Program Manager at Google, you are accountable for the critical early stages of data center construction, setting the conditions for successful project delivery.
