1:1 Teaching Assistant– Receptio Role: 1:1 Teaching Assistant Year Group: Reception Location: ST19 Start Date: Immediate Contract: Full‑time, ongoing Agency: Smile Education Smile Education are seeking a compassionate and reliable One‑to‑One Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Reception at a welcoming primary school located in the ST19 area. The child has communication needs, so we are looking for someone who is patient, nurturing, and confident providing individualised support. About the Role As the school’s 1:1 Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Providing personalised support to a Reception aged pupil with additional needs Supporting the pupil’s learning through tailored activities and interventions Helping to develop communication, confidence, and independence Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support staff Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environmentThis role is ideal for someone who is caring, patient, and committed to helping a child thrive both academically and emotionally.
