Quality Inspector 📍 Portsmouth (PO3) 🕒 Full-time | Permanent We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a leading aerospace manufacturing organisation based in Portsmouth. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-performing quality team supporting the delivery of safety-critical products to global aerospace standards. The Role As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet stringent engineering and regulatory requirements. Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for inspecting components and assemblies at various stages of production, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Inspect sub-assemblies and finished products throughout the manufacturing lifecycle Verify components against engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality criteria Use a range of inspection and measuring equipment to ensure conformity Support production teams to maintain quality standards and customer satisfaction Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams within engineering and manufacturing About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Proven experience in a quality inspection role within an aerospace manufacturing environment Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications Experience using a variety of inspection and measurement tools Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach Desirable Skills & Experience Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, or CAA Part 21G standards Previous aerospace inspection experience Relevant engineering or quality qualifications (advantageous) Working Hours Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:15 Friday: 07:30 - 16:00 Every other Friday off Benefits Competitive pension scheme Company sick pay Employee assistance programme Retail discounts and perks platform Cycle to work scheme 24/7 health and wellbeing supportIf you're looking to join a forward-thinking aerospace organisation with a strong focus on quality and innovation, we'd love to hear from you.
