Health & Safety Officer Southampton, Hampshire Full-time, Permanent Monday - Friday (7:00am–4:00pm or 8:00am–5:00pm) £35,000 - £40,000(dependent on experience) + Benefits As Health & Safety Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting and driving a strong safety culture across a friendly manufacturing business based in Southampton. You’ll work closely with teams at all levels to ensure compliance with health and safety, reduce risk and promote best practice across the business. Key Responsibilities * Supporting and promoting a positive health & safety culture across the site * Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and industry standards * Assisting with the development and maintenance of H&S systems and procedures * Carrying out risk assessments and implementing appropriate control measures * Investigating incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and actions * Conducting regular site inspections and audits * Providing guidance and support to staff on health & safety best practices * Maintaining accurate H&S records and documentation * Liaising with external bodies where required What’s on Offer * Salary of £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience * Stable and growing business * Supportive and collaborative environment * Ongoing training and development Interested?
