The successful candidate will be proactive, commercially aware and confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, providing practical advice and ensuring a positive culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead SHEQ activities across multiple construction and M&E projects, ensuring consistent standards across sites.

· Work closely with Project Managers and Site Managers to address SHEQ issues and improve site performance.
· Monitor subcontractor compliance, ensuring appropriate safety and quality standards are maintained.
· Deliver toolbox talks, SHEQ briefings and guidance to site and operational teams.
· Produce SHEQ performance reports, identifying trends, risks and areas for improvement.
· Support environmental and quality compliance across projects, including waste management, inspections and quality assurance.
Candidate Requirements:
· Experience as a SHEQ Manager within a M&E contractor.
· Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and environmental regulations.
· Experience working across multiple construction projects and operational environments.
· A recognised Health & Safety qualification, ideally NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
· Membership of IOSH, ideally at Chartered level or working towards it.
· Experience managing ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and growing engineering and construction business where SHEQ plays a fundamental role in its continued success. The successful individual will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact, influence business wide standards and work alongside experienced senior management and project delivery teams on a diverse portfolio of high profile projects
