Central Business Manager

TimePlan Education is recruiting on behalf of a multi-academy trust based in South East London area for an experienced Central Business Manager to join their Central Services team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled education business professional to play a key strategic role supporting a group of primary schools, working closely with a Central Finance Manager and senior leadership teams.
π The Role
The successful candidate will act as a key link between Central Services and school leadership teams, providing high-level operational and strategic support across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities include:
Acting as the liaison between Central Services and individual schools
Providing strategic and operational leadership across finance, HR, and estates
Line managing school-based administrative and support staff
Supporting the development of consistent systems and processes across the trust
Promoting a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and high standardsThis role involves working across assigned schools as well as time at the Trust's Head Office in Bromley, with an essential car allowance provided.

We are looking for an experienced professional who:
Has proven experience in business management within the education sector
Is confident working across multiple school sites and senior leadership teams
Has strong knowledge of finance, HR, and operational school systems
Demonstrates excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills
Can inspire and support staff while maintaining high standards of delivery
