About the role
Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking to work on some of the UK's most exciting data centre projects?
We're working with a highly respected construction consultancy that has built a strong reputation for delivering cost management, project management and advisory services on complex, high-value developments. With a growing pipeline of work and a strong presence in the data centre sector, they're looking to add a Project Quantity Surveyor to their London team.
This is an opportunity to join a consultancy where you'll have genuine responsibility, direct client exposure and the chance to work alongside experienced industry professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional projects.
What you'll be doing
Managing cost and commercial aspects of major construction projects from inception through to completion.
Working closely with clients, contractors and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Providing both pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying services.
Taking ownership of project deliverables and proactively managing commercial risks.
Supporting the delivery of large-scale data centre developments and other technically complex projects.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
What we're looking for
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Around 3-5+ years' experience within a consultancy or client-side environment.
Experience working on construction-stage data centre projects is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of cost management, procurement and contract administration.
Experience acting in a PQS or CQS capacity would be advantageous.
Exposure to mechanical and electrical packages is a significant plus.
Chartered (MRICS) or currently working towards chartership.
Strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing situations.
Motivated, proactive and keen to develop your career within a growing consultancy.
Why consider this opportunity?
This isn't the type of consultancy where you'll spend years hidden behind spreadsheets. You'll be trusted with responsibility early, encouraged to develop client relationships and given exposure to some of the most sought-after projects in the market.
You'll also benefit from:
✅ Ongoing professional development and chartership support
✅ Direct access to senior leadership and decision-makers
✅ A collaborative, open culture where ideas are welcomed
✅ High-profile projects across the data centre and infrastructure sectors
✅ Modern technology and tools to support your work
✅ Regular team events, company away days and recognition programmes
✅ Clear opportunities for progression as the business continues to grow
If you're a Quantity Surveyor with data centre experience, or a strong background in M&E, electrical infrastructure or other complex construction sectors looking to break into data centres, we'd love to hear from you
