LGV Class 1 Driver

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.
Mainstay are working with a long and established Transport company based near to Ellesmere Port seeking to recruit a LGV Class 1 driver to join there team on a permanent basis.
The job involves driving a flatbed vehicle completing on average 2-3 deliveries per shift. Typical loads will be delivering steel, scaffolding, precast concrete and Timber. It is important drivers are competent in strapping techniques and confident carrying these types of loads.
All drivers would be required to complete nights out and be comfortable working as a “Tramper” driver.
