Lead Designer

Lead Designer Location: Bournemouth Sector: Modular Construction Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 + Package The Opportunity A fantastic opportunity for a Lead Designer to join an innovative modular construction business delivering projects across multiple sectors throughout the UK. This role will focus on taking projects from concept through to delivery, leading technical coordination and ensuring designs are fully integrated with manufacturing and construction processes. You’ll play a key role within a growing design team working across both hot rolled and cold rolled modular systems. Role Overview You will be responsible for: * Managing projects from concept design through to delivery. * Producing and coordinating detailed Revit models and technical drawings. * Leading technical design coordination across projects. * Working closely with manufacturing and delivery teams. * Supporting buildability and modular design integration. * Managing design compliance and technical standards. * Coordinating consultants and external stakeholders. * Supporting innovation and continuous improvement within design processes. About You * Strong experience within design for modular or offsite construction. * Advanced Revit experience essential. * Strong technical detailing and coordination skills. * Experience managing projects through full design lifecycle. * Understanding of hot rolled and cold rolled systems preferred. * Strong communication and leadership skills.
