Steel Erector

We are looking for an experienced steel erector who is happy to broaden their skills into mechanical pipework installation. The work is typically small to medium structural steel packages on live treatment works, day to day includes for example a galvanised access platforms with walkways, handrail, mesh flooring and an access stair, and the Ductile Iron or steel pipework from 80mm up to 300mm, valves and fittings that run with it. what were looking for. - Setting out and erecting fabricated steelwork from GA and fabrication drawings — platforms, walkways, stairs, ladders, handrail and support steelwork - Fixing base plates and walkway supports down to concrete with resin anchors (e.g. Hilti HIT-RE 500) - Installing mesh flooring, kickplates, handrail and mesh infill panels - Site drilling, trimming and bolting up, grade 8.8 M16/M20 connections, protecting and coating drilled holes and any damage to galvanising - Assisting with, then progressing to the installation of DI flanged and spigot pipework, bends, tees, reducers, gate valves, flexible couplings and puddle flanges, from DN100 up to DN200 and above - Making off flanged joints, gasket and bolt selection, correct torque sequence, isolating dissimilar metals - Supporting hydro-testing of completed pipework runs - Working to RAMS, permits and lift plans, and keeping the workface tidy and safe on a live operational site Salary Range £200-£250 per day CIS - Temp to Perm Role Various sites ranging withing 1 hour 30 mins of RG27 9AY Call Adam to discuss if no answer text STEEL and i will call you back
