General Foreman

General Foreman Felixstowe Civil Engineering We’re working with a contractor to recruit an experienced General Foreman for a heavy civils package in Felixstowe port. The work involves the removal of existing crane rails and replacement with new tracks, this will involve new foundations, gullies, services, new fenders and ladders and extensive concrete works. Pouring approximately 120 cubic metres per day. Starting 1st October and offering work through until Spring 2027. Duties will include: * Managing and co ordination of sub contractors * Support, improve and drive the programme of works where possible * Problem solving, logistics and end of shift reports * Ensuring H & S on site is maintained to required standards * Support and work alongside site management team and engineers Required to hold current SMSTS, CSCS, CAT & Genny and First aid as minimum and have proven experience of managing fast paced site works.
