Your new role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a portfolio of infrastructure projects within a framework environment. You will take ownership of significant work packages, providing full commercial management from procurement through to final account.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the commercial performance of multiple projects or packages
- Leading subcontract procurement and managing supply chain relationships
- Producing and presenting CVRs, forecasts (EAC/ETC), and commercial reports
- Administering NEC contracts, including compensation events and change control
- Managing and mentoring junior Quantity Surveyors
- Working closely with operational teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Maintaining strong client relationships and supporting commercial strategy (This is a hybrid role with a mix of office and working from home. xwzovoh )
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience operating as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a Tier 1 or major contractor environment
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts (essential)
- Experience managing large-scale infrastructure or civils packages
- Demonstrable experience producing CVRs, forecasts, and managing project finances
- Experience managing or mentoring junior commercial staff
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent) (Experience within water, utilities, or regulated frameworks is highly advantageous)
