About the Role:

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and experienced Behaviour Manager to support the Senior Leadership Team in developing and maintaining a positive whole-school culture of Attitudes to Learning, Behaviour and Safety. 

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing challenging pupil behaviour, ensuring high and consistent standards across the school, and supporting students to re-engage positively with learning. 

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and wider pastoral team, the Behaviour Manager will provide both strategic and operational leadership in relation to behaviour. They will use effective monitoring, intervention and restorative approaches to reduce repeated incidents and support students in making positive choices. 

Nurture is central to this role, with a strong focus on positive relationships, emotional wellbeing and helping young people overcome barriers and flourish. Excellent communication, active listening and restorative approaches will be key to developing understanding, trust and positive connections.

This is a non-teaching pastoral leadership role with responsibility for student wellbeing, attendance, behaviour, safeguarding and achievement, working collaboratively with colleagues, families and external agencies to identify need, provide effective support and ensure every student can succeed.
