Board Member, Scottish Social Security Scrutiny

The Scottish Government is seeking two Members for the Scottish Commission on Social Security (SCoSS) where they will contribute to independent scrutiny of social security regulations. Successful candidates will work collaboratively to fulfil statutory functions and provide evidence-based recommendations.

Remuneration is set at £225 per day based on a 7.5-hour day, requiring a commitment of 36 days per year, including monthly online meetings and additional sessions as necessary. Candidates should have a strong understanding of social security and its impacts.
