Were Hiring | Abrasive Blast Cleaners | Birkenhead Key role and responsibilities for Abrasive Blast Cleaners role * Prepare surfaces for coating by removing rust, scale, old coatings and contaminants using abrasive blasting techniques. * Operate abrasive blasting equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures. * Select and use the correct abrasive media and blasting pressures for the specified surface preparation standard. * Achieve required surface preparation standards (e.g. Sa 2, Sa 2½ and Sa 3) in line with project specifications. * Safely use and maintain painting tools, equipment and access systems. * Comply with all health, safety and environmental procedures, including the correct use of PPE and RPE * Maintain high standards of housekeeping, ensuring work areas remain clean, organised and free from hazards. * Work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades to support the safe and efficient delivery of projects. Minimum requirements for Abrasive Blast Cleaners role: * Train the painter protective coating applicator card & abrasive blast cleaner module (Silver) * Candidates must be elgibible to obtain BPSS security clearance which as minimum candidates would need to provide including criminal record check, 3 years of employment history, right to work, 5 years address history * Candidates would also need to be eligible to obtain SC clearance About Denholm Industrial Services Denholm Industrial Services specialises in engineered scaffolding, specialist rope and access solutions, offering a single-supplier approach to streamline major construction, maintenance, and repair projects.
