- Scotts Fuels / Lisburn Fuels / Scotts Lubricants We require a transport planner to join our team based in Head Office.
This is a prime opportunity for a career minded & ambitious individual to join one of NI largest fuels & lubricants businesses with over 75yrs experience delivering products throughout NI.
Key Roles: Communicating with drivers to ensure deliveries are completed as per schedule & any issues that arise are dealt with in a timely manner Plan & Schedule delivery routes for drivers daily to make them as efficient as possible Ensure driver performance is effectively managed Maintain Compliance with relevant regulations & safety standards Work with maintenance team to ensure vehicle services, maintenance & safety checks are completed as per schedule Review transport plans & data to help with continuous improvement on route optimization Benefits Full time permanent position Company Pension Free Parking One early finish per week On-Site parking Employee training & Mentoring Working for a 75yr family business (job Security) On the job training Extra Shifts available if desired Staff rates for fuel.
Skills & experience
- 1-2yrs experience in transport industry (Preferred but not essential as in house training will be provided).
- Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail. xwzovoh
- Proficient IT Skills in Microsoft Excel & transport Management systems.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills .
- A proactive & customer focused approach .
- Good geographical knowledge of NI.
Hours Mon
- Fri 08.30
- 17.30 (With one early finish per week) Sat Paid above salary on a rota basis one in 5 average) Salary Salary dependant on experience between £39,000 to £45,000 We are an equal opportunity employer
