Design & Estimation Manager Exclusive Opportunity via Time Recruitment (Preferred Supplier) Location: Greater Manchester (Office & Site Based) Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE + Vehicle/Allowance + Benefits Type: Permanent, Full Time Time Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading UK fire and security solutions provider to recruit an experienced  Design & Estimation Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the design and estimating function, overseeing a small team, and delivering accurate, compliant, and commercially competitive quotations and tenders across fire and security projects. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the design and estimating team. Produce and review system designs, quotations, tenders, and cost estimates. Interpret specifications, drawings, and client requirements to create compliant solutions. Conduct site surveys and client meetings where required. Manage supplier and subcontractor pricing enquiries. Support sales, operational teams, and senior leadership with technical and commercial expertise. Ensure smooth project handovers following contract award. Monitor KPIs, tender success rates, and departmental performance.  Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience in fire & security design, estimating, or technical sales. Strong knowledge of fire alarms, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and integrated security systems. Good understanding of relevant British Standards and industry regulations. Experience preparing detailed tenders and technical proposals. Strong leadership, communication, and commercial skills. Full UK driving licence.
