About the Role Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation, development and optimisation of Access Financials across the organisation. You will help ensure that our financial systems are operating effectively, producing reliable information and delivering meaningful insights to support operational and strategic decision-making. Working closely with Finance, IT, operational managers and external suppliers, you will develop reports, dashboards and business intelligence solutions that transform financial and non-financial data into valuable organisational insight. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, solving problems, enhancing reporting and helping others make greater use of financial information. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation, maintenance and development of Access Financials. Act as a key point of contact for finance systems users across the organisation. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and management information. Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities. Support budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting processes. Assist in maintaining robust system controls, data integrity and financial governance. Support finance transformation initiatives and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement. Liaise with external suppliers and support system upgrades, testing and enhancements. Essential A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CIPFA or equivalent) or significant relevant experience. Experience working with financial systems or ERP platforms. Advanced Excel capability. Experience using Power BI and Power Query. Desirable Experience of Access Financials. Experience supporting finance transformation or system implementation projects. Knowledge of SQL, data modelling or automated reporting tools.
