Balerno High School is a fully comprehensive, non-denominational high school situated in the southwest of Edinburgh. We are seeking a motivated, skilled and enthusiastic teacher to join our Creative Technologies faculty. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Drama and committed to inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
The ability to teach Drama to advanced higher would be desirable
As part of our innovated approach to education, we have recently embarked on a 1 to 1 device digital journey. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience integrating digital skills into their teaching practice, enhancing both student engagement and learning.
You should be committed to further raising the attainment and achievement of all our pupils and be able to demonstrate an active interest in current educational developments. The successful candidate will be encouraged to contribute to the wider life of the school and to extend the range of extra curricular clubs on offer.
