Location: Glasgow
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder to join our team in Glasgow.

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible to obtain a high level of security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

Weld carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium using a range of welding processes.
Carry out MIG, MAG, MMA, FCAW and automated welding.
Produce high-quality butt and fillet welds.
Inspect and verify your own work to ensure it meets required quality standards.
Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience

Modern Apprenticeship Certificate (Trade Papers) and relevant welding qualifications (SVQ3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
Experience in ceramic-tile, flux-cored and metal-cored welding.
Ability to meet visual and NDE inspection standards.
Experience welding carbon steel (4-15mm thickness).
MIG aluminium welding and automated welding experience.
Background in maritime, construction, manufacturing or a similar industry.
Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
