General Maintenance Operative

Salary: £30,000£35,000 Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday (08:0016:30) We are seeking a proactive and skilled General Maintenance Operative to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance across our companys buildings at various locations throughout the UK.

This includes providing general building maintenance to self-storage facilities, office complexes, and retail parades.

Whats in It for You: Excellent work-life balance (Monday to Friday schedule) Company Vehicle or fuel allowance (40p per mile) 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) Free storage unit for you or your family Recognition programmes £250 employee referral reward Free on-site parking What Youll Be Doing: You will carry out a variety of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, including: General building repairs including roofing and cladding Plumbing Joinery Tiling Painting and decorating Carpeting Paving Drainage works Grounds maintenance and site clearance Site pressure washing Furniture assembly Furniture removal What Were Looking For: Minimum of 3 years experience in a building trade or property maintenance role NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating Cladding and roofing experience (Desirable) CSCS card (Desirable) Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organisational skills xwzovoh with the ability to manage and prioritise workload to meet in-house KPI/SLA timescales Competent in using IT systems to record work undertaken and associated expenditure Good understanding of health and safety procedures, including identifying hazards and carrying out point-of-work risk assessments Strong communication skills to liaise effectively and minimise disruption All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
