Garages Surveyor West London £443 per day Umbrella A West London local authority is seeking an experienced Garages Surveyor to support the effective management of its garage portfolio.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Council’s garage stock, ensuring assets are well maintained, efficiently let and effectively managed to maximise income and reduce voids. Key Responsibilities: Manage lettings, inspections, repairs, voids and general day-to-day operations of the garage portfolio. Carry out regular inspections to ensure garages are safe, compliant and fit for purpose. Coordinate repairs and maintenance works, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently. Drive income generation through proactive asset management and marketing of vacant units. Monitor and improve void performance, ensuring garages are re-let quickly and effectively. Identify underperforming or surplus sites suitable for redevelopment or disposal. Work closely with contractors, residents and internal stakeholders to deliver a responsive customer-focused service. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures. About You: Experience managing garage portfolios, commercial property, housing assets or similar estates services. Strong knowledge of inspections, repairs management and void control. Experience maximising rental income and improving asset performance. Ability to identify redevelopment or disposal opportunities within property portfolios. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Organised, proactive and able to manage a busy and varied workload
