Plumbing & Gas Tutor Location: Bristol Contract Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time - 35 hours per week Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) The Role A specialist apprenticeship training provider is seeking a Plumbing & Gas Tutor to support the delivery of high-quality apprenticeship training across Plumbing, Gas, and Renewable technologies. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced industry professional looking to move into education while maintaining a strong practical focus. You will support apprentices through both practical and theoretical learning, helping them progress towards successful completion of their qualifications and End Point Assessments. Key Responsibilities Deliver training and assessment to Plumbing & Gas apprentices Support learners preparing for End Point Assessment (EPA) Monitor learner progress and complete regular reviews with employers and apprentices Maintain accurate learner tracking and Off the Job training records Support learners' personal development and progression Promote safe working practices and professional behaviours Act as a positive role model within the training environment What We're Looking For Essential: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing & Heating Minimum 2 years' industry experience within Plumbing & Heating Strong communication and organisational skills Flexible and adaptable approach Willingness to complete mandatory training Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Monday to Friday working pattern (08:00 - 16:00) Dedicated preparation time built into the week Small class sizes focused on quality delivery 33 days annual leave plus bank holidays Enhanced pension options Cycle to work scheme On-site parking Additional Information Permanent, full-time role Small group delivery environment Enhanced DBS may be required depending on delivery setting Important Notice Dovetail and Slate is a specialist education recruitment company.
