Static Mechanical Engineer North London £40,000 - £48,000 per annum Full-Time | Static Site We are recruiting for a Static Mechanical Engineer to join a prestigious site in North London, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical building services. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on: * Plumbing systems * AHUs, extract and intake ventilation systems * FCUs and thermal wheels * Booster sets, calorifiers and water heaters * Diagnose faults and identify defects, ensuring remedial works are completed efficiently * Produce accurate maintenance reports, inspections and service documentation * Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of work * Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with on-site stakeholders * Support the safe and efficient operation of all mechanical plant and equipment Requirements * Previous experience within building maintenance, facilities management or a commercial maintenance environment * Mechanical qualification such as City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent * Good understanding of mechanical building services and maintenance practices * Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe working procedures * Comfortable using mobile devices and maintenance reporting systems * Strong communication skills with a proactive and professional approach * Ability and willingness to obtain MET Police SC Clearance What's on Offer? * £40,000 - £48,000 per annum * Stable, single-site role with a varied workload * Ongoing training and career development opportunities * Supportive team environment with strong client interaction * Opportunity to work on a prestigious public sector contract
