Senior Mechanical Design Engineer 📍 Epsom 💰 £55,000 – £75,000 DOE 🏢 Building Services Consultancy We are working with a well-established Building Services consultancy looking to add a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to their growing team in Epsom. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to take a leading role across a varied portfolio of projects while supporting junior engineers and contributing to project delivery from concept through to completion. The successful candidate will play a key role within the engineering team, delivering high-quality mechanical building services design solutions across multiple sectors. The Role * Lead mechanical design on several small projects or take ownership of medium-sized projects * Support the delivery of larger-scale projects within the wider design team * Produce conceptual and detailed mechanical designs to client specifications * Carry out feasibility and viability assessments * Prepare technical reports, specifications, and calculations * Attend and chair client and project meetings * Support project delivery, coordination, and resource planning * Mentor and review the work of junior engineers * Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders Requirements * Experience within a Building Services Consultancy environment * Strong background in mechanical building services design * Experience producing mechanical design calculations and drawings * Proficient with AutoCAD * Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical building systems * Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartership * Excellent communication and project coordination skills What’s on Offer * Competitive salary package * Opportunity to work on a varied project portfolio * Clear progression opportunities within an established consultancy * Supportive and collaborative working environment If you are interested in discussing this opportunity further, please apply today or get in touch for a confidential conversation
