Payroll Technician – People Focused Firm – Middlesex About the Firm: This is an exciting time to join a growing practice. About The Opportunity: Joining as a full time Payroll Technician, you will be providing payroll services to a portfolio of clients, operating across various healthcare related industries. About The Role: You will be working under the guidance of the payroll team to assist with the provision of the following services: • Managing own workflow to meet associated deadlines • Preparing and distributing all aspects of employee payments • Maintaining payroll records and calculating taxes • Ensuring timely submission of data to HMRC and maintaining compliance with GDPR • Administration of pension contributions and ensuring auto-enrolment rules are being adhered to • Providing a friendly point of contact with clients for payroll. You will be integral to the practice’s continued expansion and will be expected to want to help the payroll division. About The Applicant: They are looking for a highly ambitious candidate, someone who thinks outside the box and is willing to go above and beyond the expectations of clients, to help develop profitable long-lasting relationships. * Always adopt a positive mindset * Takes a commercial approach, keeping client’s best interests at the forefront * Enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude * Determination and drive to continually improve processes and working techniques * CIPP and/or AAT qualified/part qualified * Strong understanding of payroll and HR * Work experience within an accountancy practice environment would be preferred * Adaptable and wanting to develop skills across both payroll and bookkeeping * Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance workloads to manage the needs of various clients * Possesses excellent attention to detail * The ability to remain calm under pressure * Proactive and willing to take on increased responsibility from the outset About The Benefits: * 20 days annual leave + 8 days BH * Working hours 8.30-5.30 with 1 hour for lunch (there is flexibility to this) * 1 day WFH per week post probation * Private medical insurance post probation * Auto enrollment pension
