HGV Class 1 Night Driver

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Night Driver (Chichester) Type: Temporary to Permanent Pay Rate: £46,000-£48,000 per annum Location: Chichester Start Date: Immediate Are you an experienced Class 1 Night Driver with an HGV/LGV Category C+E licence? We are recruiting for a well-established customer in Chichester, offering ongoing temporary work trunking between Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs). This role involves moving high-volume goods with no handballing, making it ideal for drivers who prefer straightforward trunking work. Requirements: * Hold a valid driver’s licence with no more than 6 penalty points. * Valid Class 1 (HGV/LGV, Category C+E) driving licence. * Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card. * 2 years experience in trunking or RDC work is essential. * Comfortable with night shifts and long-distance driving. * Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out trunking runs between RDCs. * Transport high-volume goods safely and efficiently. * Conduct vehicle checks and ensure compliance with transport regulations. * Adhere to scheduled delivery and collection times.
