Location: Edinburgh

Skillsets required

• Proficient with IBM MQ on z/OS
• Knowledge of configuring and administering MQ on the z/OS platform
• Installation, patching, configuration and troubleshooting of IBM MQ on z/OS
• Experience with vendor engagement for problem/incident determination
• Use of SSL and management within the MQ environment
• Proficient in data transfer to and from host systems
• Configuring security, defining Queue Sharing Groups, gathering and analyzing statistics and accounting data for performance tuning

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting/Performance tuning of Message Queue applications
• Provide 24x7 on‑call support and support for out‑of‑hour changes as required
