Facility TechnicianSalary: Up to £30,000 p/a Location: Oxford Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm Job Type: Permanent Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly? We’re looking for a proactive Facility Technician to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our site remains safe, efficient, and well-maintained. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day and thrives in a practical, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. What You’ll Be DoingYou’ll be at the heart of site operations, supporting a mix of planned and reactive maintenance, including: Carrying out general maintenance and basic repairs across the site Supporting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities Responding promptly to reactive maintenance issues Maintaining buildings, equipment, and external areas to a high standard Assisting with monitoring site services to ensure safe and efficient operation Conducting regular safety checks, identifying hazards, and reporting issuesWhat We’re Looking For Experience in a hands-on or maintenance-based role A good understanding of health & safety practices A practical, solution-focused mindset Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Physically capable of manual tasks (lifting, bending, etc.)If you’re a reliable, practical individual who takes pride in your work and enjoys getting stuck in, get uin contact with Charlie at Orion.  Due to the volume of applications we receive, we may not be able to respond to every applicant.
