CNC Setter / Operator

I am seeking an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join a precision engineering company based in Rugby. This company is a specialist in precision engineering, manufacturing high‑tolerance components for the medical, aerospace and motorsport sectors. Job Title: CNC Setter / Operator Location: Rugby Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am – 4pm Salary: £37,500.00 - £43,500.00 DOE You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery (Fixed Heads), producing components, managing tool set up and ensuring high quality output throughout production. Responsibilities: * Ability to carry and complete CNC machine set ups on fixed head turning * Produce first off parts and complete checks before full production runs * Work to engineering drawings * Adjust tooling and offsets * Monitor and inspect wear and damage on all machinery and escalate where needed * Operation and management of CNC machines during the production process * Daily / Weekly / Monthly maintenance of machinery * Update and record production data * Support continuous improvement and communicate effectively To be considered: * Strong knowledge in CNC machinery and Fixed turning * Ability to read program code and identity errors * Demonstrate and work in high pressure situations * IT skills * Strong knowledge of all materials and cutting grades * Proven experience within operating CNC machinery For further information please contact Sally on (phone number removed) | (phone number removed) or to apply submit your CV Riverside Recruitment are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
