We are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager to join a leading construction firm in Cardiff.

This is a great opportunity to work on a number of new, exciting projects across the UK and showcase your expertise whilst playing a key role in supporting operational teams to deliver projects safely, compliantly and in accordance with best practice.

A Health and Safety Manager you will: Act as a central point of contact for health and safety matters across allocated projects.

Prepare, review and maintain project-specific RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, and COSHH assessments, using company systems and libraries.

Support project teams in meeting their duties under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM).

Carry out regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews, providing clear and practical advice.

Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions, producing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.

Support Contract and Site Managers to ensure effective implementation of safe systems of work.

Liaise with client representatives, Principal Designers, and other stakeholders on H&S matters.

You will need a NEBOSH Construction Certificate and a solid understanding of working in the construction industry.
