Morson Edge are working with a major player in the Energy sector who have a current contract requirement for an Off-Site Delivery Lead (Passenger Transport) to join their established Project/Site Operations Team in Bridgwater, Somerset.

Overview

• The Off-Site Delivery Lead (Passenger Transport) is involved with the delivery and maintenance of Project Associated Development Sites, Parking Allocation and enforcement - encompassing Park and Rides, Passenger Transport Operations, Parking and Fly-Parking administration and control.
• You will be responsible for developing, reviewing and updating policies and procedures that underpin safety, standard operating procedures and strategy across various Associated Development (AD) sites.
• You will ensure safe and sufficient facilities are provided for Tier 1 contract partners' staff, to enable them to safely travel to and from the main Project Construction site.
• You will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive monthly Health and Safety and Engagement inspections and meetings in support of AD operations.

Principal Accountabilities

• Manage the day-to-day provision of a critical site passenger transport support service to a construction workforce of circa 16,000
• Be accountable for ensuring all statutory, regulatory and site and Associated Development site operational and health and safety controls are adhered to.
• Ensure that contract partner teams are fully competent to perform their assigned roles - and that any shortfalls are reported to the respective Service Manager without delay
• Develop and implement plans to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds requirements, expectations and the Project work schedule

Criteria: Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Recent and relevant in-depth knowledge and experience in a Service Supply environment.
• Management [or leadership] experience in a service lead environment.
• Proven technical experience within a large project environment demonstrating Logistics and Facilities Management experience.
• Experience of working within the constraints of a controlled access high security environment.
• Confident in own abilities and be able to deliver a positive effect in a dynamic fluctuating environment.
• Excellent communication skills, able to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships.

Desirable

• Degree Level or Equivalent Qualification in a related subject OR significant industry related experience
• Experience of working with and developing budgets.
• Recognised and certificated 'Behavioural Safety Programme'. xwzovoh
• Recent IOSH accreditation [or equivalent].
• Results orientated, team player, capable of managing emergency issues
• Experience of using Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word
