Job Role of the Shift Electrician

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Shift Electrician to join a well-established manufacturing site in Inverness. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer looking to work within a large-scale industrial environment, with the potential for career progression for someone who demonstrates the right qualities.

The site manufactures wood-based panels, with a highly industrialised production process involving raw material preparation, drying, resin and wax application, pressing, cooling and finishing.

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment across the factory, yard and offices, working as part of an experienced engineering team to maximise plant reliability and minimise downtime.
