We are currently working with a highly regarded Top 150 UK law firm looking to recruit an Application Support Specialist into their growing IT and business support function based in Alconbury.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with either an IT support background or experience within the legal sector such as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant, or Junior Paralegal who enjoys systems, training, and helping colleagues get the best out of technology.

The role will involve supporting users across a range of legal and business applications while acting as a key point of contact for training, guidance, and system support.

Typical duties for the role will include: Providing first-line and second-line support across legal and business systems.
Assisting users with application queries and troubleshooting issues.
Delivering one-to-one and group training sessions to staff across the firm.
Explaining processes and system functionality clearly to non-technical users.
Producing training materials, user guides, and process documentation.
Supporting onboarding and induction training for new starters.
Liaising with software providers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
Assisting with system upgrades, testing, and implementation projects.
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and user experience.
The successful candidate will have: Previous experience within IT support, application support, or a legal support environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence delivering training and supporting users at all levels.
A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Experience working within a professional services or legal environment would be advantageous.
