Head of Sales & Engineering Water Treatment & Dosing Pumps | Manchester £60k£70k Basic Bonus Executive Car 8% Pension Benefits Commutable from: Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle, Sheffield, Stoke-on-Trent, Birmingham, Nottingham, Derby The Opportunity This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for both the commercial and engineering functions of a growing and well-established process engineering business specialising in water treatment and dosing pump systems.

Youll lead a small but capable sales team while also overseeing the engineering side of the businessensuring technical excellence, successful project delivery, and strong alignment between sales and operations.
This role is ideal for someone ready to step into a broader leadership position, combining strategic direction with hands-on involvement across sales, engineering, and business growth.
The Company Highly successful and well-respected process engineering company Strong reputation within the water treatment, chemicals, and pharmaceutical sectors Long-standing team with excellent staff retention (many 10 years) Significant investment in people, systems, and long-term growth Accredited to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Proven track record of promoting from within JS Selection has placed multiple candidates here successfully The Role Lead and develop the sales function, managing a team of 4 Oversee the engineering team and ensure successful delivery of dosing pump and water treatment system projects Take full ownership of revenue growth, strategy, and performance Align sales and engineering to improve efficiency, customer outcomes, and profitability Maintain key customer relationships and remain commercially active Set targets, KPIs, and strategic direction for both departments Drive continuous improvement across processes, systems, and team capability Work closely with senior leadership on business planning and growth strategy Travel across the UK to support customers, teams, and key projects The Ideal Candidate Proven leadership experience across sales, engineering, or both Strong background in water treatment pumps, dosing systems, or related process equipment (essential) Track record of managing teams and delivering business growth Commercially astute with strong technical credibility Experience bridging sales and engineering functions is highly desirable A strategic thinker who can also operate in a hands-on capacity Ambitious, driven, and capable of stepping into a senior leadership role Willingness to travel across the UK What You Get £60,000£70,000 basic salary Performance-related bonus Executive-grade company car 8% pension contribution Full tech package (laptop, mobile, etc.) Strong career progression into senior/executive leadership A key role in shaping the future of a growing business The Process For an immediate interview, either click on the APPLY NOW button below or contact Jon at JS Selection on
