Job: Project Controls Manager
Location: Havant Thicket Reservoir
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + 10% Pension
Our client, a leading Civil Engineering Contractor, is seeking a Project Controls Manager to join their team on the flagship project. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role on a major infrastructure scheme, supporting senior leadership with high-quality project insight, reporting, and controls.
The successful candidate will be based on-site and will support the Project Management team in driving performance, governance, and informed decision-making across the project lifecycle.

Project Controls Manager Job Overview
- Provide project controls insight to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Produce and manage monthly reporting, dashboards, and performance updates for senior management and stakeholders
- Monitor project performance using Earned Value Management (EVM), KPIs, and data-driven dashboards
- Support senior leadership meetings, project reviews, and performance discussions
- Assist in managing and structuring project scope changes in line with contract requirements
- Coordinate project risk management activities, including identification, assessment, mitigation, and tracking
- Develop and maintain project structures, reporting frameworks, and organisational maps
- Work closely with Project Planners to maintain and update project programmes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project controls systems, tools, and processes
Project Controls Manager Job Requirements
- Degree qualified in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or similar
- Experience working on large, complex construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of project planning, reporting, and controls methodologies
- Experience with Design & Build (D&B) projects
- Knowledge of NEC contracts and change management processes (advantageous)
- Proficient in Excel (including queries) and Power BI for reporting and data analysis
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior stakeholders
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud and BIM/information xwzovoh management systems
- CSCS Card (Manager or Academically Qualified)
- Full UK Driving Licence
