The Social Value Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure that social value is embedded into projects and initiatives within the property industry. Description
Develop and implement social value initiatives to align with project goals and community needs.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure social value objectives are met.
Monitor and report on the progress of social value activities and their impact.
Provide guidance and support to project teams on social value best practices.
Engage with local communities to identify opportunities for positive impact.
Prepare detailed documentation and reports for stakeholders and internal teams.
Work alongside procurement teams to include social value criteria in supplier contracts.
Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to social value in property projects.Profile
A successful Social Value Officer should have:
Previous experience in the property industry or a related field.
Strong understanding of social value principles and their application in projects.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
A proactive and solutions-focused approach to challenges.
Proficiency in preparing detailed reports and presentations.
Familiarity with relevant policies and regulations in the property sector.Job Offer
Competitive salary ranging from £36,000 to £38,000 per annum.
Permanent position based in Rotherham.
