Heritage Engineer / Structural Engineer

Our current projects span High Speed Rail, Bridges, Nuclear Power, Immersed Tube Tunnels, Ports, and more. We have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join our team in London. You will be a key part of our delivery team, contributing to the design and analysis of complex structures on large-scale UK and international projects. Design, analysis and checking of structures across sectors — from bridges and tunnels to retaining walls and marine works Undertake calculations, use a variety of design software and apply international design codes and standards Contribute to managing time, budgets, and project resources efficiently Degree qualified Civil or Structural Engineer, working towards Chartership via a recognised institution (ICE, IStructE) Experience designing complex structures (foundations, bridges, marine structures, etc.) using steel, concrete, or composite materials A good understanding of structural analysis, construction methods, and advanced numerical modelling Proficiency in finite element analysis software such as LUSAS and Midas, and excellent Microsoft Office abilities (particularly Excel) A collaborative approach with excellent communication and writing skills Ability to work under pressure and ensure deadlines are met, whilst maintaining high quality output Competitive salary and benefits package (pension, profit share, medical insurance, etc.) Hybrid working options for better work-life balance Ongoing training, CPD, and career development Opportunities to work on technically challenging projects across the UK and globally A vibrant Sports & Social Club that organises events, games, entertainment, and recreational activities to promote camaraderie and fun outside of work Paid volunteer days, French lessons, and more!
