Accounts Senior (ACA / ACCA) Location: Bridgwater Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Are you an experienced ACA or ACCA qualified accountant looking for your next opportunity within a supportive and growing accountancy practice? We're recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join a well-established practice in Bridgwater. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a varied client portfolio while mentoring junior team members and building strong client relationships. The Role As an Accounts Senior, you'll work with a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounts and tax services while supporting the wider team. This role offers plenty of client interaction and genuine opportunities for progression. Key Responsibilities Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts. Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax compliance. Preparing and submitting tax returns and liaising with HMRC where required. Providing advice and support to clients on day-to-day accounting matters. Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team. Building and maintaining strong client relationships. Using cloud accounting software including Xero and QuickBooks. About You ACA or ACCA qualified. Minimum three years' post-qualified experience within an accountancy practice. Strong knowledge of statutory accounts and tax compliance. Experience managing client relationships. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software. What's on Offer Competitive salary, depending on experience.
