Field-Programmable Gate Arrays Engineer

Contract Opportunity – FPGA & PCB Design Engineers | Outside IR35 | Mostly Remote

I'm currently supporting a client delivering next-generation, security-sensitive technology who are looking to engage experienced engineers on an Outside IR35 contract with a majority remote working arrangement.

We're keen to speak with professionals who have experience in one or more of the following areas:

High-speed, multi-layer PCB design using Altium Designer

Complex 12+ layer PCB development with HDI technologies

RF PCB design for applications operating above 6GHz

Signal Integrity, Power Integrity & EMC-focused design

FPGA development using VHDL, Verilog or SystemVerilog

Neural network & machine learning acceleration architectures

RTL design, simulation, synthesis & timing closure

High-speed digital system performance optimisation

Integration of PCIe, DDR, Ethernet & SerDes

FPGA verification & validation

Low-level driver, BSP & hardware abstraction layer development

There is also the potential for the contract to transition into a permanent position (£100,000 salary) for those willing to work onsite in Hampshire and obtain/hold full UK Security Clearance .
